Wednesday Evenings at 5:45, Beginning October 18, 2017
According to the United Methodist Book of Discipline, the Holy Scriptures contain “all things necessary to salvation.” In other words, the Bible provides the foundational narratives and beliefs that unite us to the God we know in Jesus Christ and to one another. The road to discipleship necessarily includes reading and praying the Scriptures. If you have never had a chance to participate in a comprehensive Bible study, we hope you will consider this upcoming opportunity.
Disciple Fast Track is the latest version of the popular Disciple Bible Study series. This course is designed to allow participants to read and study portions of each book of the Bible over the span of 24 weeks. The group will meet weekly for 75 minutes and complete manageable daily readings in preparation for each week’s class.
Disciple Fast Track 1 will begin on October 18. It will meet for eight Wednesday nights in the fall and resume in mid-January for an additional 16 sessions. Group facilitators will be Sarah McCain and Jeff Howerton. A registration fee of $30 covers the cost of study materials.
