Today’s reading is Matthew’s account of the baptism of Jesus.  In this scene, John questions Jesus, wondering why Jesus wants to be baptized by John, and shouldn’t it be Jesus baptizing John instead?  What if baptism, though, is the beginning of the journey rather than the culmination of one’s journey?  Today, we also remember our own baptism through repeating the ritual.   (NOTE:  Although the video begins with the sermon, once it starts you can scroll back to the beginning of the service if you want.  The video of the entire service is available to watch.)  (NOTE: The audio recording of the Children's Moment and Sermon was taken from the Early Service because there was no Children's Moment in the Late Service today.)
